A fair game? Are you being watched?
Picture this: A strongish looking shaman challenges you to a duel. Being bigheaded, you boast 'I'll wipe the floor with ya!'. She is wearing some +6 lvl 18 armour and holding a lvl 30 bell. The shaman, ready to duel, smiles meanly and whips out some lvl 66 armour and a +9 bell for lvl 65. She kills you in one hit. Annoyed, you swear at her. She is unimpressed by this and goes offline. Later in the day, when you think you're doing a good job levelling, suddenly your game disconnects as if someone has logged onto your account. You try to login but you can't- you receive the message 'Your account is banned.' Great. In your emails you see that you have been banned for profanity. But why? No GMs were on at the time... or were they? That shaman you duelled secretly has another account. She is GM Lemon! Certainly, you shouldn't have been profane. But what if one of the shaman's friends swore as well? Would they receive the same punishment? I think not.
That's why I think GM in game characters are like eyes to their main GMs. They can see you, and catch you out when you least expect it.
