GM Impersonation...They aren't cool. They aren't funny. They're only online and registered with one thing in their cold, cruel minds: SCAM SCAM SCAM! Why else would they try to mimic the name of a powerful member of metin who could easily ban someone and make them tremble in fear? Basically, what they do is choose a GM, preferably a new one the people don't know much about. They try to get their name as close to the GM's name as possible. For example, to impersonate GM Lemon, the criminal would either choose a capital L at the start, a capital i, a zero instead of the O, or even more intelligently, an R and N mashed together in small form to look like an M [ rn ]. It's the next biggest scam since stone removals. These criminals will use their fake GM to threaten players to give up their accounts or they will get banned- but no GM is ever allowed to do this. Instantly you should call a real GM if another 'GM' asks you for your account details, because it is a trick. Don't be frightened by the threats because they have no banning power whatsoever. Try to keep them online and talking to you, in the meantime getting a real GM to sort them out. It's fun to catch them out, but it's no fun for the people who have actually believed these 'GMs' to be real. So, if a GM ever asks for your account details, remember: A GM will NEVER ask for ID and password. Ever.
